Climbing has always been more than just a sport to us. Its our way of seeing the world from places that very few can access, and often from an angle that’s a lot more scenic than any tourist lookout. We wont deny, some of our adventures start off daunting. But its usually exactly those that leave us with amazing memories and epic stories.

We had the idea to start this to share our adventures and hope to inspire more fellow countrymen to embrace the outdoors and diversity of the sport outside the realm of plastic; because ultimately the possibilities are limitless.

Climbing outdoors has always been a dream of mine since I started climbing back in TPJC in 2011. Four years on, I had my first taste of rocks and did my first ever multipitch with Ridhwan at Batu Caves. The sense of journey and adventure with your partner – often stepping into the unknown – during a multipitch is unparalleled and its this exact reason why I love doing it.

Climbing outdoors has also opened my eyes to the diversity which our sport has to offer. Exploring the various aspects of climbing such as trad, big wall and alpine is definitely a goal in mind. DARE TO DREAM BIG! With hardwork and pushing past your comfort zone, these dreams may become a reality!

I wish I could be climbing full-time but that’s sadly not the case. When I’m not hanging off some cliff, or thinking about it, I’m usually attending to patients as a hospital physiotherapist. I am extremely thankful tho to have had the chance to complete my studies in Queensland Australia where weekends meant heading to the mountains for some climbing adventures. It was really then that I had the chance to apply ropeworks and rescue skills in real scenarios, experience different kinds of climbing (sport, trad, aid…), and see how diverse and limitless the sport, or rather lifestyle, truly is.

I do hope to someday be a more all rounded climber on both rock and ice by working towards some of my goals set for the near future. But for now, I’m quite happy to get out on rocks at every opportunity i can get, make epic memories, and meet other like-minded individuals out there who dream of bigger things beyond plastic and podiums.
